Christina is a certified Pilates mat instructor and obtained her credentials from the Equinox Pilates teaching program, which is recognized by the prestigious Pilates Method Alliance. Christina also obtained her 200 RYT from the classical Sivanada Ventana Ashram in Nassau, Bahamas, where she specialized in traditional Hatha yoga, focusing on the importance of breath, proper alignment and seamless flow.
Christina has a marketing and operations background in beauty, health and wellness. Her career and schooling has allowed Christina to live and work in various international cities including Toronto, Vancouver, Paris, London and New York. Her knowledge and passion for the health and wellness industry is what pushed her to become a pilates and yoga instructor and share her passion with others. In addition to teaching classical mat pilates and traditional Hatha yoga, Christina has developed a unique fusion class, which she refers to as Yogalates.
What to expect:
Client’s will find classes at MODALIFE™ STUDIO challenging, yet approachable. The sequences are unique, effective and most importantly fun.
Hatha Yoga – including a sun salutation flow. Focusing on breath, flexibility, alignment and proper relaxation between poses/asanas. Each yoga class ends with a blissful sivasana.
Mat Pilates – core defining and muscle sculpting. Total body toning while increasing flexibility. You may even get in some cardio by getting your heart rate up!
MODALIFE STUDIO’S signature power fusion class – a blend of Yoga and Pilates. Enjoy the benefits of both Yoga and Pilates – channel mindfulness while sculpting your body. Each Yogalates class ends with a blissful sivasana.
A total body, ballet barre inspired workout to sculpt, tone and tighten. MODABARRE classes are based on effective isometric exercises – small and repetitive movements that sculpt, lengthen, lift and tighten your body. No prior dance or barre experience required.
